Is United Movers Transportation fully licensed and insured?
Yes — we carry a Washington household-goods carrier permit along with US DOT and MC authority for anything crossing state lines, and every Pierce County job is backed by $1M in cargo coverage.
How does the flat-rate quote work?
We ask about your inventory, access at both ends (stairs, elevator, parking distance), and your target date. From that we work out real crew and truck hours and send back one written number for you to approve. Whatever that number says is what you pay at the curb.
Will you deal with my building's insurance paperwork?
Yes. Priya handles the certificate-of-insurance request most Tacoma buildings ask for and locks in the freight-elevator time slot before crew day, so you are not stuck calling building management the morning of.
What if my closing date gets pushed back?
That happens often enough that we plan for it. We will hold your belongings in clean, climate-controlled storage on a month-to-month basis, no long-term commitment attached.
Do I need to put down a deposit?
A $150 flat deposit locks in your date and comes off the final bill. The rest of the flat rate is spelled out in writing beforehand, so nothing catches you off guard on move day.
