Fantastic to work with from start to finish! Chris was wonderful to work with and the moving team of Mike and Chuck was great as well! I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!
Upright, baby grand, or a full concert grand — Wyatt runs the piano board and skid crew on Tacoma stairwells and Gig Harbor bridge crossings alike.
One written number, no walkthrough required.
Pianos don’t move like furniture, and Wyatt’s crew treats them that way — piano boards, skids, and rigging straps instead of a dolly and hope. Uprights, baby grands, and full grand pianos each load differently, and a grand almost always means the legs and lyre come off and the body gets crated before it goes anywhere near a staircase.
Tacoma has plenty of homes where the piano went in during construction and the doorway hasn’t been that wide since. Narrow stairwells in older North Tacoma houses, tight turns in split-level Lakewood homes, sidewalk-to-porch elevation changes — Wyatt’s crew has moved grands through all of it without pulling a doorframe off its hinges.
| Piano type | Typical crew | Prep required |
|---|---|---|
| Upright | 2-3 movers | Piano board, wrap |
| Baby grand | 3-4 movers | Leg/lyre removal, board |
| Concert grand | 4+ movers, crating | Full crate, rigging |
We handle the move and basic climate protection in transit, but we’re not piano tuners — plan on a tuner visit after delivery, especially after a long-distance haul. This service pairs with residential moving when the piano’s one part of a bigger move, or stands alone as a specialty job. Get a quote at /quote/ and see more specialty work on our services page.
One number covers the crew, the gear, and the care — nothing itemized after the fact.

Jason! Julio! These guys crushed it. Super professional, hard working, understanding. They went above and beyond for us. Making moving easy is never an easy thing to say, but they made our move EASY! Thank you guys. Truly
Paul Luis and David moved our possessions in a quick manner and kept it all very well protected and handled everything that we asked them to do I would recommend this team to anyone
One honest Tacoma crew for every kind of move across the South Puget Sound.
Most of our runs never leave Pierce County — Tacoma, Lakewood, and University Place on one flat number you sign off on before we touch a box.
Cross a state line and the same Tacoma crew that loaded your house drives it through, since we run the Seattle, Portland, and Spokane corridors ourselves on our own federal authority.
North Tacoma craftsman or a Lakewood rambler, the routine holds: blankets on the corners, floor runners at both ends, and furniture set back in place before we roll out.
Downtown high-rises and Stadium District walk-ups gate you behind reserved elevators and building paperwork, so Priya locks down the COI before crew day, not the morning of.
Full-home packing with materials included — every box labeled by room so unpacking at the other end takes an afternoon, not a week.
Closing dates rarely line up with move-out day; our climate-controlled storage holds your things between legs, billed month to month.
Send your pickup and dropoff and our Tacoma office sends back a written flat rate — usually within the hour.
