Paul Luis and David moved our possessions in a quick manner and kept it all very well protected and handled everything that we asked them to do I would recommend this team to anyone
Gun safes and heavy strongboxes up to about 2,500 lbs, rigged down stairs and through doorways with the gear built for the job, not a hand truck and hope.
One written number, no walkthrough required.
Gun safes and heavy strongboxes are their own category — a 1,200-pound safe doesn’t move like a couch, and past a certain weight it doesn’t move without rigging gear at all. We handle safes and heavy strongboxes up to roughly 2,500 lbs, using stair rollers, rigging straps, and pry bars built for the job rather than furniture dollies asked to do something they weren’t made for.
Doorframes and stair edges take the damage on a bad safe move, so we run corner guards and floor protection on every job — hardwood in a Proctor District home or carpet on a Puyallup staircase gets covered before the safe moves an inch. On tight turns we’ll pull a door off its hinges before we’ll risk gouging a wall.
| Weight range | Equipment |
|---|---|
| Under 600 lbs | Stair rollers, standard crew |
| 600-1,500 lbs | Rigging straps, 3-4 person crew |
| 1,500-2,500 lbs | Full rigging setup, specialty crew |
Past 2,500 pounds we’ll tell you straight that it needs equipment we don’t run — better that conversation happens on the phone than with a safe stuck on your stairs.
We move the safe; we don’t handle the combination, bolting it to a slab, or electrical work for biometric models — that stays with a specialist. See residential moving if the safe’s part of a full house move, or get specifics through /quote/. Questions about coverage on high-value items are answered on our FAQ page.
One number covers the crew, the gear, and the care — nothing itemized after the fact.

Cavon and Graham showed up early, worked hard and took good care of my stuff. They made everything really easy
Trevor, Rafa and Michel did a great job! Very helpful during the move. We had to sort through storage units and organize as we went along. Thanks!
One honest Tacoma crew for every kind of move across the South Puget Sound.
Most of our runs never leave Pierce County — Tacoma, Lakewood, and University Place on one flat number you sign off on before we touch a box.
Cross a state line and the same Tacoma crew that loaded your house drives it through, since we run the Seattle, Portland, and Spokane corridors ourselves on our own federal authority.
North Tacoma craftsman or a Lakewood rambler, the routine holds: blankets on the corners, floor runners at both ends, and furniture set back in place before we roll out.
Downtown high-rises and Stadium District walk-ups gate you behind reserved elevators and building paperwork, so Priya locks down the COI before crew day, not the morning of.
Full-home packing with materials included — every box labeled by room so unpacking at the other end takes an afternoon, not a week.
Closing dates rarely line up with move-out day; our climate-controlled storage holds your things between legs, billed month to month.
Send your pickup and dropoff and our Tacoma office sends back a written flat rate — usually within the hour.
