Quotes and estimates
Estimates provided through this website, by phone, or by our office staff are based on the information you provide at the time — inventory, distance, dates, and access conditions. Actual pricing may vary if the scope of the move changes once our crew is on site (additional items, stairs not previously mentioned, packing services added day-of, and similar factors). We’ll always communicate a revised number before proceeding if the job changes materially from what was quoted.
A quote is not a guarantee of availability on a specific date until confirmed with our office, and for certain jobs, a deposit.
Booking and deposits
Some moves — particularly long-distance and larger local jobs — require a deposit to hold your date. Deposit terms, including refund conditions, are communicated directly by our office before you’re asked to pay anything.
Liability and insurance
United Movers Transportation carries cargo insurance and operates under a Washington household-goods carrier permit for in-state moves and federal authority for interstate moves. Standard valuation coverage and any additional protection options are explained by our office before your move, consistent with Washington state and federal regulations governing household goods carriers. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the terms disclosed in your move agreement, not the general content of this website.
What this website is not
Nothing on this site constitutes a binding contract by itself. A move is confirmed only once our office has scheduled it and, where applicable, received any required deposit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from use of this website or our services are subject to the jurisdiction of Pierce County, Washington courts, except where federal law governing interstate carriers applies.
